Coming up to Christmas, Ramsgate Arts held a very successful fund raising sale of original works of art.

The pieces were priced to appeal to the Season’s tradition of gift giving and were on sale at the bargain price of £50 or under. Almost a hundred pieces were on show, many of them donated free by established artists living in the town. Other local artists helped out by paying an exhibitor’s entry fee and giving their time to help run the exhibition space.

The wonderful roomy exhibition space at the harbour was generously lent free of charge by Michael Morgan of UDS – all of which made the venture a worthwhile exercise which hopefully will be repeated this December.
